Privacy

The short version: this site shows no adverts, has no forms and no accounts, and serves its own fonts and images. Since 2 November 2026 it runs Google Analytics 4, which is the only thing loaded from another domain. A bar at the bottom of each page asks whether you allow analytics cookies, and none is stored unless you do. The web server also keeps an access log. The rest of this page explains the analytics, that log, how the odds calculator handles what you type, and your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 was switched on on 2 November 2026. The tag is loaded from googletagmanager.com on every page and runs in Google consent mode. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are always set to "denied", whatever you choose in the bar.

What each choice in the analytics bar means
Your choiceCookies on your deviceWhat the tag sends to Google
No choice yetNo analytics cookieCookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and browser and device details
DeclineNo analytics cookieThe same cookieless page-view signals
Allow analytics cookiesFirst-party cookies whose names begin with _ga, so that repeat visits can be recognisedPage views, with those cookies

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time; the bar opens again.

Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy, and may process it outside Kenya.

The odds calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The number of legs, the outcomes per leg and any percentage you type are worked out on your own device; the form has no submit button and sends nothing to the server, and what you type is not part of what the analytics tag sends. Close the tab and the numbers are gone. With JavaScript turned off, the page shows a fixed worked example for 13, 15 and 17 legs instead, and your numbers are not sent either way.

What the web server records

The server that sends these pages writes one line to an access log for each file it delivers. In this site's configuration that line holds:

  • the IP address the request came from;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the address of the page or file requested, and whether it was found;
  • the size of the response;
  • the referring page, if your browser sends one;
  • the user agent string, which names your browser and operating system.

Section 2 of the Data Protection Act, 2019 defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, and an IP address can point to one, so the log is treated as personal data. It is used to keep the site working: to find broken links, server errors and abusive traffic. It is not joined to any other data, not sold and not used to profile anyone. Where the server sits, which hosting provider runs it and how long the log is kept will be stated here together with the publisher's details, which are not yet published.

Third parties

Google is the only one. Through the analytics tag described above, your browser sends Google the details listed there. Nothing is sent to any other company: there are no embedded videos, maps, social buttons, chat widgets or payment pages, and no link to any operator. Domains that appear in the text, such as gra.go.ke or odpc.go.ke, are plain text: your browser requests nothing from them unless you type the address yourself.

Messages that use this site's name

This site sends no SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or e-mail messages and sells no tips. A message that uses its name to offer predictions, ask for a payment or ask for your personal details is not from it. If you have already shared data with a group like that, the rights below apply to whoever holds it.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019

The Act was assented to on 8 November 2019 and commenced on 25 November 2019. Section 26 gives you the right to be informed of the use of your personal data, to access it, to object to its processing, and to have false or misleading data corrected or deleted. Those rights are owed by the data controller, which section 2 defines as the person or body that decides the purpose and means of processing. Under section 56 you can complain to the Data Commissioner orally or in writing, and the complaint must be investigated and concluded within 90 days. The same rights apply to what a betting operator or a prediction service holds about you.

The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, at odpc.go.ke, publishes a searchable register of data handlers. Because the publisher of this site has not yet been named, there is no entry to look up today. When the entity is published, its name and the way to make a request under section 26 will appear on this page.

Changes to this page

2 November 2026: Google Analytics was switched on, and this page was updated to describe it. Any other data-collecting feature, such as a contact form, will be described here before it goes live. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
